Website and enquiry terms
These terms apply whenever you look at huddersfieldunderpinning.co.uk or send an enquiry through it. The site is run by Huddersfield Underpinning, and by using it, or by sending us your details, you accept what's written here.
Why this website exists
underpinning We aren't the specialist firm that ends up contacting you, and we don't carry out inspections or any underpinning work ourselves.
Using the words and pictures on this site
You're welcome to read this site and print a page for your own use. The text, images, design and code belong to Huddersfield Underpinning or to whoever licenses them to us, and none of it may be copied for publication elsewhere, framed inside another site, scraped, or otherwise misused.
These pages are background, not a verdict
underpinning What you read here is general information about underpinning, not a survey or report on any particular building, and it isn't a substitute for someone actually looking at your property.
The practical effect of sending an enquiry
Filling in the enquiry form costs nothing and doesn't create a contract between you and us. Your enquiry, with the details you gave, is passed to one specialist firm covering the area you told us about, so that they can contact you about it. They use it only to answer your enquiry and to arrange any visit or work you agree with them, and from that point they are responsible for how they handle it. We do not pass your details to anyone else for their own use. Whatever inspection, quotation or work follows is agreed directly between you and the specialist, under their own terms, not ours. The specialist may pay us when we pass the enquiry on. You pay us nothing, and you are free to get quotes from anyone else. None of this stops you getting quotes from anyone else you choose.
Who stands behind the work that follows
Once a specialist firm contacts you, they answer for their own inspection, advice, quotation, work and any guarantee they offer. If a problem arises with work they've carried out, take it up with them first, though we're always glad to hear about it as well.
On the reliability of what's published here
We make an effort to keep this site accurate and available, but we can't promise either. Any part of it may be changed or taken down without notice.
How far we'll answer for things going wrong
So far as the law allows, our liability to you in connection with this site or any enquiry sent through it is limited. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to exclude. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Other websites you might click through to
Where this site links to another website, that site isn't ours and we don't run it. A link here isn't us recommending what you'll find there.
If these terms get revised
We may revise these terms from time to time, and the version shown on this page is the one that applies. A later change won't affect an enquiry you've already sent us.
The law that applies, and where you can sue
These terms are governed by the law of the place where we're established. If you're a consumer, you can also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
Raising something with us
If you've a question about these terms, or about anything else to do with this site, the contact page is how to reach us. If you complain to us about how we have handled your personal information, we acknowledge it within 30 days and reply as soon as we can.
